According to 2017 edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR-2017, Clarivate Analytics 2018, formerly Thomson Reuters), the impact factor Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine reaches to 1.634, representing a great increase from 0.925 last year.

APJTM was founded in 2008 and first included in Science Citation Index (SCI) in 2010, when its IF was 0.172 and then steadily grew in the following years, with IF 0.371, 0.502, 0.926, 1.062, 0.841,  0.925 respectively in the year of 2011-2016. This shows that the quality, impact and influence of our journal has been continuously improving.

Furthermore, APJTM has now ranked the 10th position among all the 20 SCI-indexed academic journals worldwide in the category of tropical medicine based on their 2018 IF scores, rising from the 14th position last year.

We believe that these achievements not only belong to our chief editors, our editorial board members and editors, but also all the authors who have ever submitted their valuable manuscripts, cited our published articles and supported APJTM all the time. We sincerely welcome every author’s submissions and make APJTM more and more successful.
