Objective: To study the influence of antiviral drugs combined with antioxidant therapy on chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis patients' liver injury and fibrosis process. Methods: A total of 118 cases of chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis patients in our hospital during May 2013 to February 2016 in Infectious disease hospital of Dongying were retrospectively analyzed and divided into control group (n＝60) underwent routine antiviral therapy, observation group (n＝58) underwent antiviral drugs combined with antioxidant therapy. Serum oxidative stress indexes, liver function indexes, liver fibrosis indexes in two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there were no significant difference between two groups about serum oxidative stress indexes, liver function indexes and liver fibrosis indexes (P>0.05). After treatment, serum contents of oxidative stress indexes such as SOD was higher than that in control group, AOPPs was lower than that in control group; liver function indexes such as AST, ALT, TBIL in observation group were lower than that in control group, ALB was higher than that in control group; liver fibrosis indexes such as HA, Ⅳ-C, PC III, LN were lower than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Antiviral drugs combines with antioxidant therapy can significantly reduce oxidative stress injury in patients with chronic hepatitis B liver cirrhosis.
